📄 Overview

This project focused on designing and integrating a parking assistance system that uses ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles and notify the driver through audible signals. It enhances parking safety and helps drivers maneuver more easily in tight spaces.

🎯 Objectives

  • Design and integrate ultrasonic sensors onto the car’s bumper

  • Ensure sensor placement meets detection range and accuracy requirements

  • Provide design feasibility and validation for OEM approval

🧠 What I Did (Role: Project In Charge)

  • Took complete ownership of sensor design and positioning on vehicle bumpers

  • Used 3D printing for prototyping sensor mounts and validating physical integration

  • Interacted regularly with the electronics team for technical inputs and alignment

  • Shared feasibility reports and discussed integration challenges with clients

  • Created kit drawings and participated in product testing and documentation

  • Worked directly with Honda as the key OEM client for this project
